Haven't been blogging for a while, because I've been busy with my move to Ottawa. But now that I'm more or less set up, I've had a chance to get out and enjoy the city a little bit. Some highlights from the last few weeks:

1. My brother and his family came to visit on the Civic holiday long weekend, and we spent some time hanging out in the market, caught some street performers on Sparks Street Mall, and checked out the First Peoples' Exhibit at the Museum of Civilization.

2. Grocery shopping at the market after work, and getting fresh fruits and veggies from local farmers, and delicious cuts of meat at the butcher shop, and the list goes on...

3. Exploring the bike paths. The Ottawa area apparently has hundreds of kilometers of bike paths, 22 of which perfectly span the space between my home and my work. This morning on my way in to work I saw 2 deer! I don't think I've ever been able to say that before!
